Visionist’s UX Designer, Jim Miller, presented at the North American Cartographic Information Society’s annual meeting in Tacoma, WA on October 17, 2019. In his presentation, he discusses different user testing techniques for map designs that range from quick and crowd-sourced to long and moderated to underground and guerrilla. Winner winner chili dinner! Visionist had their annual Chili Cook-off yesterday, October 24th. For our team build this year, the Visionist team brought out their innovative sides and out of the box personalities for something “cool”… an ice cream challenge! On September 13th, Visionist sponsored and participated in the Booz Allen Hamilton golf event. Booz Allen partnered and donated all proceeds from this event to the Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA). SMGA is a registered nonprofit providing rehabilitative golf experiences for post 9/11 combat-wounded veterans to improve the quality of life for these American heroes.
